CAL-OSHA/DOSH AHERA Asbestos Contractor Supervisor Refresher (8 Hours) Required Annual recertification for Certified Supervisors, Consultants, and CSSTs This 8-hour Cal-OSHA-accredited course fulfills the annual AHERA refresher requirement for maintaining Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor certification. It also satisfies one of the continuing education requirements for Certified Asbestos Consultants (CAC) and Site Surveillance Technicians (CSST) in California. The course provides a focused review of the original 40-hour training and delivers critical updates on: Federal and California asbestos regulations (EPA, OSHA, Cal-OSHA) New legislation, compliance requirements, and industry standards Respiratory protection, safety procedures, and PPE Emerging tools, materials, and abatement techniques Practical guidance for supervising asbestos projects Liability, documentation, and enforcement considerations Real-world case studies and student-specific scenarios are incorporated to reinforce applied learning and problem-solving in the field, along with interactive-participatory training methods.
