Description
This 4-hour class is required every five years to retain your EPA RRP certification. You must take this RRP refresher course before your initial certification expires.
Trades that may require RRP certification include HVAC, painting, electrical, window replacement, flooring, drywall, or plumbing workers and contractors. The requirements apply to renovation, repair or painting activities where six square feet or more of surface containing lead-based paint is disturbed in a room, or where more than 20 square feet of material containing lead-based paint is disturbed on the exterior. Â Subjects covered in the course include health effects, regulations, lead-safe work practices, containment, cleaning, and record keeping.
Visit the EPA’s website for additional information about RRP certification.
