This eight-hour course satisfies the annual refresher requirement to keep accreditation as an AHERA Asbestos Contractor Supervisor current. It is also one of the requirements for retaining Cal-OSHA certification as a Certified Asbestos Consultant or Site Surveillance Technician.
The class includes a comprehensive review of regulations, liability issues, health concerns, protocols, and best practices for supervising and performing asbestos construction and abatement work. Updates on relevant regulations and research are provided. Discussion of real-world case studies and students’ specific work-related issues help you develop practical solutions for real-world problems.
