Webinar Topic:
“Transite (Asbestos-Cement) Pipe Training — Who Needs It, When It’s Required, and How Often”

    • Which tasks require staff to receive Transite pipe training
    • The types of work activities and field conditions that trigger the training requirement
    • How Cal/OSHA defines initial training versus refresher training
    • Common situations where agencies unintentionally fall out of compliance
    • How to ensure your training meets Cal/OSHA’s approval requirements

This session is intended for contractors, managers of public utility organizations, municipal employees, supervisors, EH&S personnel, inspectors, and field personnel responsible for maintenance, repairs, emergency response, removal, and/or oversight of work involving older water or sewer infrastructure that may involve AC pipe.

There will be time for questions, and we’ll focus on practical compliance guidance rather than legal theory. We might even have time for a sneak peek of our interactive polling software, Kahoot!TM that we utilize in our classes.
