This 5-day CDPH Initial accredited course meets training requirements for both the Lead SPM certification. It prepares individuals to manage lead-related construction activities, coordinate abatement teams, and oversee compliance on job sites.

Course topics include:

• Project setup, containment design, and site safety management
• CDPH Title 17, HUD Guidelines and Cal-OSHA lead standards/regulations
• Worker supervision, documentation, and clearance protocols
• Jobsite communication with consultants, clients, and enforcement personnel
• Hands-on exercises containment set-up, air sampling, lead abatement methods and visual inspections

Students complete field exercises and a final exam. This course is mandatory for those managing lead abatement crews and verifying worksite clearance.
