CDPH Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor Initial Certification training in Concord, CA Parra Environmental Bay AreaThis 5-day CDPH- and EPA-approved course trains professionals to identify lead hazards and recommend appropriate control or abatement measures in residential, commercial, or public buildings. It covers all regulatory requirements under Title 17 and Section 402 of TSCA.

Course content includes:

  • Lead survey methods (XRF, paint chip, dust, and soil sampling)
  • HUD Guidelines 
  • CDPH and EPA inspection protocols and regulatory criteria
  • Report preparation and documentation
  • Hands-on field exercises in sample collection and risk analysis

Students conduct a mock inspection and prepare a risk assessment report under supervision.

Prerequisite: None, though building inspection experience is helpful
Full attendance is required for the Inspector & Risk Assessor certification.
