CDPH Continuing Education General

This 8-hour CDPH-accredited course fulfills the Continuing Education requirement for certified Lead Supervisors, Project Monitors, Inspectors, Risk Assessors, and Sampling Technicians (excluding Workers).

Course topics include:

• Regulatory updates (CDPH Title 17, HUD, EPA, and OSHA)
• Updates in inspection tools, lab methods, and abatement practices
• Review of basic elements from the initial course
• Discussion of case studies and jobsite challenges

This course is also required for individuals applying for CDPH certification after initial training taken more than one year prior, but less than three years ago.

Prerequisites and Requirements:

• Valid CDPH Initial Certification or expiring certificate (within 2 years)

• If initial training was completed over 1 year ago (but under 3), this course is required to apply

• Full attendance is mandatory to receive a Continuing Education certificate
