It focuses on field competency in collecting environmental samples safely and accurately. \nCourse content includes: \n\nOverview of lead sampling protocols (paint\, dust\, soil\, air)\nProper documentation and chain-of-custody procedures\nUse of field equipment\, sampling containers\, and labeling\nHands-on demonstration of HUD/CDPH sample collection methods\n\nSampling Technicians are limited to field collection and may not interpret data or prepare final reports. \nNo prerequisites required.\nFull attendance is required to receive the CDPH Sampling Technician certification.
