This 4-hour Cal-OSHA accredited course fulfills the annual refresher requirement for maintaining AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector certification. It also satisfies part of the continuing education requirement for Cal-OSHA Certified Site Surveillance Technicians (CSST).This course provides a focused review of:

• EPA, OSHA, and Cal-OSHA regulations relevant to asbestos inspection
• Sampling techniques and material classification protocols
• Health effects, liability concerns, and insurance issues
• AHERA-compliant inspection, documentation, and reporting standards
• Common ACM locations and approaches to detecting concealed materials
• Legislative and regulatory updates affecting field practices
