AHERA Project Designer Refresher Certification training in Concord, CA Parra Environmental Bay AreaThis 8-hour Cal-OSHA-accredited course satisfies the annual refresher requirement for maintaining AHERA Project Designer Refresher certification. It is also a required component for maintaining Cal-OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) status.

Course topics include:

  1. Federal, state, and local regulatory updates (EPA, AHERA, OSHA, Cal-OSHA)
  2. Health effects, liability exposure, and design-related safety considerations
  3. Review of abatement design principles and containment strategies
  4. Writing and updating technical specifications and bid documents

  6. Design alternatives for Class I work and occupied building scenarios
