AHERA Asbestos Cement Pipe Refresher Certification training in Concord, CA Parra Environmental Bay AreaThis 2-hour DOSH Asbestos Cement Pipe Refresher course is a 2-hour, state-approved training designed for workers who have already completed the initial 4-hour AC Pipe course.

Required annually under Cal‑OSHA Title 8 §341.17 and 29 CFR 1926.1101, this course helps participants stay compliant and informed.

Specifically, it targets employees who actively cut, remove, or handle asbestos‑cement (transite) pipe. Through this refresher, workers will gain updates on safety standards, regulatory shifts, and improved field practices. In addition, the course reinforces the real-world application of safe handling techniques, containment procedures, and decontamination protocols. As a result, participants strengthen their awareness, sharpen their jobsite performance, and maintain exemption status under pipe registration rules.

Participants will receive updates on:

  • State and federal regulation changes specific to ACP work
  • Health hazards and exposure control improvements for asbestos‑cement pipe
  • Best practices in work methods, containment, decontamination, and disposal
