CDPH Lead Lead Supervisor Project Monitor Initial (40 Hours)
This 5-day CDPH Initial accredited course meets training requirements for both the Lead SPM certification. It prepares individuals to manage lead-related construction activities, coordinate abatement teams, and oversee compliance on job sites.
Course topics include:
- Project setup, containment design, and site safety management
- CDPH Title 17, HUD Guidelines and Cal-OSHA lead standards/regulations
- Worker supervision, documentation, and clearance protocols
- Jobsite communication with consultants, clients, and enforcement personnel
- Hands-on exercises containment set-up, air sampling, lead abatement methods and visual inspections
Students complete field exercises and a final exam. This course is mandatory for those managing lead abatement crews and verifying worksite clearance.
No prerequisites required.
Full attendance is required to receive a CDPH Lead SPM certificate
