CAL-OSHA/DOSH AHERA Asbestos Worker Refresher

This 8-hour Cal-OSHA-accredited course fulfills the annual refresher requirement for maintaining AHERA Asbestos Worker certification and meets all applicable EPA, OSHA, and Cal-OSHA standards for continued asbestos abatement work.

Course content includes:

• Review of federal and state asbestos regulations (EPA, OSHA, Cal-OSHA)
• Updates on regulatory changes, jobsite compliance, and best practices
• Practical case-based problem solving and field-relevant scenarios
• Personal protective equipment (PPE), hygiene practices, and safety protocols
• New tools, techniques, and containment procedures in the field

Led by experienced instructors, utilizing interactive-participatory training methods, this course integrates real-world jobsite challenges and helps participants apply updated knowledge without compromising safety or budget constraints.

Prerequisite: Valid AHERA Asbestos Worker certification (or within one year of expiration).
Full attendance is required to receive a Cal-OSHA Worker Refresher certificate.
